Q #1: When did you first get your feet wet with the emulation community?

Well, the first time must have been when i saw iNES run Zelda on my friends computer....about 3years ago maby 2 don't remember....

Q #2: When did you decide to create "Exposure" and why?

I went to #EmuUnlim and talked to ManBeast, since i wanted to do my part for the emulation scene i talked to him about ideas i has for EmuUnlim.com, and then we came up with the idea for a Rumour page, this site would have a daily update with emulation rumours on the net. At first it was called The Rumour Mill.... But since JoseQ already had that name we changed it to Exposure....kinda catchy.... :) hehe

Q #3: When you started "Exposure" , how was the response?

As with all sites that kinda brake the barier....I was hunted and loved....Some say that i just deliver BS to the emulation scene and start chaos. Others say i give them rumours that sometimes turn out to be a fact....witch i hope most rumours do (well almost all).

Q #4: How do you feel about your site's contest and the outcome?

It sucked, i tought i would be easy, one winner one prise. But i ended up with 4 winners and 0 prise. It's was sad for the guy who actualy one the contest, and as i said on the site, blame the cheaters.

Q #5: From the photos you were given by the 4 winners, were any easily determined to be fake?

One was, the others where harder....and since i only could give out 1 prize i desided it would be best to drop the whole thing.

Q #6: How much e-mail does Exposure generate (per day)?

Ok, lets see, i guess about 20 to 30 e-mails.....most have the same rumours. :)

Q #7: Have you gotten any extreme praise for your site?

As in over the top? Hehe, well people telling me all sorts of shit....like that Daves was shut down because he was cought having Child porn on his site. and shit like that.

Q #8: What was Exposure 2 about?

Well, people told me that it was hard to read the stuff that was one my page (red and black don't mix kinda thing)....well all i wanted to do was to create a new interface, also try to make it more magazine like, something like the tabloids....and it diden't work so i posted it for one day, and removed it.

Q #9: As your site moves forward, are there any changes going to be made, or was Exposure 2 it and you now feel as not to change anyht anyhti anything?

There will defenetly be a site facelift in the near future...but when and what it will look like i don't know....i'm trying to improve my HTML skils everyday and hope to make it more modern someday......but I think i will keep it as it is now, a bit longer. :)

Q #10: Why red and black?

I don't know, it looked like a cool thing at the moment, and the background was realy good looking. :)

Q #11: After being in the emulation community for some time...what do you believe are the pros and cons of the community as a whole?

Ehh, the pros must be, that you get to meet cool people and deal with cool stuff like, playing N64 games on your PC and stuff like that. (stop me if i diden't get the question right *grin*), the cons must be that we draw to much atention from IDSA, and that they blame us for being the source of Warez and shit like that

Q #12: How do you feel about ROM activity?

i think it's ok if you own the original games, but i think it's a bad thing when it's just your little pricks going into all the channels on IRC asking everyone for the latest working rom for Zelda64.......ROMs are eligall in the fact that, the people who actualy buy the games are being hit by the guys who don't.

Q #13: Do you think that the game console industry will fall because of the ability of computers to perform the abilities like emulation?

No no no, if the big companys like Nintendo, Sega and Sony where smart, they would hire all the great programmers and make them work for them, this way the console industry would have some control of the emulation comunity, insted of seuing them and all the other crap they do. It's not fun.....specialy when the IDSA begin to shut down sites that only deal with Emulators and NOT roms. Just think about it this was, what would have happend with NEC, Compaq and all the other computer companys if they diden't deasemble the IBM and clone it?

Q #14: If emulation will not hurt the game console industry, what about the computer and the technology around it? The Voodoo2 card in comparison to the future Dreamcast are nearly on equal terms. When Voodoo3 hits the market, Dreamcast still won't be here yet. Are computers just too much for the game console industry and should they accept emulation as a competator?

Well if you look at the Dreamcast, it emulated the games in the way that it runs on WindowsCE, as for the Voodoo, Computers where made for the stokmarked and not for games (befor the wonders that was gaming). And no emulators are not competators, i think if you ask people if they want to buy a emulator or the console, i think that most would say the console.....

Q #15: If Nintendo would market Mario on the PC would they be wise in doing so?

In my opinium, yes. Just think of all the money Nintendo would make, making a emulator for the PC.....Not all people want to buy a console, but most people have a PC

Q #16: How do you feel about Sega and Sega PC?

Sega is better, have you ever seen the games on Sega-PC :P hehe

Q #17: I heard that in 5 years the game console market will be gone, in your opinion, are game consoles not getting more and more similar to the PC with each round?

In 5 years there will be no such thing as a PC or Games Console, everything will be intergrated into one mahince that will sit under the TV. :) and Yes the consoles are becoming more and more like the PC, (Dreamcast and WindowsCE). :

Q #18: As the computer grows and will likely become the heart of the entertainment systems, don't you think other companies like Nintendo and Sony should begin to do the same as Sega did with Sega PC?

No, I don't think Sega had anything to do on the PC....except ofcourse as a emulator. As for Sony, sony will most likely invade that boarder to. :) Nintendo will die....and Sega is Dead.

And finally... Isn't the only real winner out of this whole mess going to be the PC?

Yes and no, as you said your self, the PC will be the center of the entertainment in anyhome, but it will change shape and look more and more like a games console. :)
